Join us on Sunday, May 31st at 4:00 PM at ArtWorks, 5002 7th Avenue, Kenosha, to learn about, discuss, and plan for a publication that’s called Mother Goosed.
Mother Goosed will feature sequential art (i.e., comic book art/graphic fiction), flash fiction, poetry, and artist splash pages that take on good old Mother Goose nursery rhymes and tease or goose their storylines, characters, minor characters, settings, etc. Humpty Dumpty may never be the same again. Contributors may also create new nursery rhymes or fractured fairy tales for the 21st century.
Ten artists have already raised their pens or brushes to indicate interest in submitting material for this book. More are invited to submit their work. All submissions will be chosen, based on their merit. The best submissions will be published based on the number of available pages. This criteria applies to artists who have already indicated interest as well as all others who contribute.
