“Off the Map” Opening Reception

forget-me-not_r1_c1

Congratulations to artist Steve Olrich.  Steve’s painting “Forget Me Not”  won first place at the  “Off the Map” art exhibition.

Prizes were also awarded to:

Bruce McCurdy for “Fall Folage”

Deb Mortl for “Waterscape in Thirds”

and a special Jurors Choice award was given to Maureen Fritchen for an untitled painting.

The Show was very well attended and I’m grateful to all the artists who made the journey from as far as  Madison, in order to be at the reception.

Many thanks to  Juror Judy Sebranek who did a wonderful job  interpreting exactly what  “Off the Map” meant to her.   She chose pieces that adhered to her criteria, which makes for a very well  rounded exhibition.   The show contains a  wide array of styles and media.  It’s worth the trip!  ”Off the Map” runs through July 18th.
