gallery prospectus

We can accept submissions in the following formats:
-High resolution scan either on a disc (please no larger than 1280×960 pixels at 76 dpi) or via e-mail to gallery@artworkskenosha.com.
-high quality color photographs
-Or submit actual work at 5002 7th ave Kenosha WI 53140 (always preferred)
Note: The juror has the right to reject a previously selected work if the submitted image is not representative of the actual piece. A work may also be rejected if the presentation is deemed unprofessional.
Time Line, Fees, Miscellaneous.
There is a flat $15.00 submission fee for juried shows.
Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for a juried show (It’s $15.00 regardless of the number of pieces.)
All submissions must be received by the posted due dates unless other arrangements have been made. Due dates are for submissions only. Artists will be notified of the jurors selections as soon as the process is complete. Artists will be notified by e-mail or phone and a due date for delivery will be issued.
Monster Important dates:
digital entries are due September 15th (Accepted artists will be notified so that work can be received by Sept. 26th.)
Physical entries are due September 26th
The show opens Saturday October 2nd and runs through November 7th
The Costume party opening artists reception is scheduled for Saturday October 30th! From 6-9 Complete with a fantastic cake, a dance show by Laurenzi Dance and many other surprises!
Shipped work Must have a reusable container and include pre-paid return postage through the mail carrier of your choice.
ArtWorks will retain a 35% commission on all sold works.
ArtWorks reserves the right to remove any work from display at any time.
It is the artists responsibility to insure that the submitted work is ready for hanging. This includes a sturdy frame and wire.
Themed work should have been created within the last 12 months (unless other arrangements have been made)
All work should be clearly labeled.
ArtWorks reserves the right to reproduce an image in part or in whole for publicity purposes, without compensation to the artist.(any used work will be credited in print)
